This webinar will outline the process for preliminary, preliminary+, and fully recognized programs to become Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program (MDPP) suppliers. We will discuss Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements like NPI, submitting an application, and coding and billing CMS successfully. We will also provide helpful tips in working with commercial payers on DPP program reimbursement and other Medicare billing opportunities.
Participants will be able to recognize important processes in becoming a MDPP supplier, applying to CMS, billing for services, and successful management of a DPP program.
This is a knowledge-based learning activity. This 60-minute online session includes a presentation followed by a question and answer period.

To satisfy the requirements for renewal of certification for the National Certification Board of Diabetes Educators (NCBDE), continuing education activities must be diabetes related and approved by a provider on the NCBDE list of Approved Providers (www.ncbde.org). NCBDE does not approve continuing education. The American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) is on the NCBDE list of Approved Providers.
Board Certified Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM)
AADE is the administering body for the Advanced Diabetes Management credentials. Continuing education programs offered by AADE can be used toward fulfilling BC-ADM Certification and recertification requirements.
