This two-part webinar event will provide a background of DSMES and the critical times to refer in addition to reimbursement including an overview of the DSMT benefit for CMS beneficiaries with diabetes who receive care in an Federally Qualified Health Center. A description of DSMT billing codes and reimbursement requirements for providing the service will be covered. Presenters will provide an overview of the current state of telehealth and DSMT in addition to insights that can maximize your value and increase sustainability of your services.
Attendees will have an increased understanding of the unique DSMT benefit for Medicare beneficiaries served in an FQHC and the basic components needed to start or sustain successful DSMES services.
