Objectives

-- Understand the pathophysiology of NAFLD/NASH and the associated risk factors and disease complications
-- Describe the national prevalence and disease burden of NAFLD/NASH
-- Discuss the typical clinical presentation and diagnostic recommendations for patients with NAFLD/NASH
-- Summarize current and evolving treatment options for patients with NAFLD/NASH

Activity Type:

This 60-minute online session includes a brief presentation followed by an interactive discussion with questions and answers from the audience.

Intended Audience

This activity is designed for diabetes care and education specialists, including nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, physicians, PAs, and other health care providers interested in staying up to date on current practices of care for people with diabetes and other related conditions.
