Program Overview

Diabetes educators consistently identify healthy eating as the most challenging diabetes self-care behavior to address. Take this one-hour course to get a clear understanding of evidence-based information on nutrition and healthy eating – along with the ability to convey that information in a way that a person with diabetes can incorporate into his or her healthy diet.

This course on one of the AADE7 Self-Care Behaviors is designed for early- or mid-career-level healthcare professionals who work with people with diabetes, who do not yet have diabetes and diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES) training.
