Whether teaching one-on-one or in groups, AADE's Diabetes Education Curriculum includes the evidence-based clinical information and teaching and patient resources you need to individualize your diabetes education and support program.
Based on the AADE7 Self-Care Behaviors, the curriculum contains an implementation guide and 8 instructional modules. The curriculum implementation guide includes standards for outcomes measurement of DSME, as overview of adult learning theory and behavior change theories.
Instructional modules include learning objectives, behavioral objectives, the instructional content as well as advanced detail for those participants who want more information or have more complex self-care needs.
